📌 What does the ↗ off-site sign-ups tag mean?

Some ARC / Alpha / Beta calls on The Story Tavern carry a dashed ↗ off-site sign-ups tag. Here's what that means for you as a reader:

• You apply on the author's own form. The Apply button sends you to the author's sign-up page (BookFunnel, a Google Form, their newsletter, etc.) instead of applying here.
• The book isn't hosted here. The author sends you the book themselves; there's no in-browser reading or watermarked download on The Story Tavern for that call.
• Reviews and ratings for that call happen off-site too. You won't see an on-site review box while the call is open, and reviews of off-site calls don't carry the ✅ Verified ARC reader badge (we can only verify readers we approved here). Once the book moves to the Library as published, anyone can rate and review it here like any other book.
• It won't appear in your My ARCs. Since the sign-up happens off-site, we have no record of it, so deadlines and review reminders are between you and the author.
