When she was a teen, she was obsessed with Stephen King and all horror. She wrote dark poetry and stories to pass the time.
Her debut novel, Roll For Initiative, started as a dare from a friend. "Dare you to write a spicy book," they said. And so she did.
When Kalia isn't writing, she is either playing video games with her husband, taking nature photos, or simply curled up with a new book
